On December 5th Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO celebrated International Volunteer Day with local and international volunteers this year too. The event was launched with the annual ceremony of awarding the titles "Volunteer of the Year", "EVS Armenian volunteer of the Year", "International EVS volunteer of the Year", “Mentor of the Year” and “Club leader of the Year” to those local and international volunteers who have been actively volunteering during the whole year. On December 5, Gyumri YIC NGO celebrated the ''International Volunteer Day''. The start was given at Hayordats Tun in Gyumri, where a photo exhibition was held titled "Volunteer work in the photos." It reflected the volunteer work done in different parts of the world. Then YIC volunteers talked about volunteerism and shared their experience of voluntary work with students of N 42 school and Academic college. The day ended in a warm environment where participants not only had the opportunity to spend a good time together, but also were awarded with certificates.
