"Family Corner" resource centers are materially equipped and furnished spaces where trainings, thematic meeting-discussions and events are held, aimed at changing stereotypes about the roles of women and men, increasing the involvement of men in child care and parenting. Resource centers are also a platform for sectoral activities of state and non-governmental organizations. On May 30, a regular cognitive expedition took place, organized by Gyumri "Youth Initiatives Center" NGO. The YIC hikers started their cognitive tour from the Gnevank Church in the Kurtan community, followed by the Arevatsag valley with its unique beauty and Hnevank with its centuries-old power. Zilling made the spring day complete with adventures, extreme and unique emotions. On May 11, within the framework of “Provision of essential life-saving skills for adolescents” project, the participants of Shirak 3 groups and the representatives of the project team met with Shirak marzpet Hovhannes Harutyunyan. The meeting started with the presentation of the project and the works carried out by the project manager Gayane Arakelyan. “BikeLife” Social Entrepreneurship Since January 2019 Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO is running the social entrepreneurship project “BikeLife”, through which we would like to promote biking in Gyumri, create and develop bike renting system, as well as provide different touristic services. The aim of the project is to promote biking in Gyumri and its surroundings. On October 12 the last hiking of this year was organized by Gyumri “Youth initiative centre" NGO. First we visited Lastiver, after it we enjoyed beautiful Haghartsin. We had a day full of extreme, adventures and a lot of nice moments which turned into amazing memories....
