ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON YOUTH PARTICIPATION
TITLE: Youth Participation Academy
PLACE: Daugirdiskes, Lithuania
DATES: 20-27 April, 2020
THE PROJECT AIMS to gather youth policy stakeholders, representatives of youth councils to discuss participatory youth policy development, co-management, youth work implementations and future youth policy vision in the region and build capacities of participants to implement it in their countries.
Participants will improve their competencies in following areas: developing youth policy, researching youth situation, active involvement of youth in decision-making, effective representation; will get acquainted with the national and European youth participation frameworks and opportunities they provide; will expand international network and learn how to build alliances around different issues; will improve communication and advocacy; public speaking and media work competencies; will share and learn individually and in the group; will find instruments to bring needed changes to improve youth policy in their municipalities.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Participants should be at least 18 years old youth workers, youth leaders, decision makers and active youth who are interested in the topic of the training course.
Working language is ENGLISH.
The Armenian team will consist of 4 participants.
Food and lodging is fully covered. The travel limit for Armenian participants is 360 Euros which will be reimbursed via bank transfer after the project upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organisers. Visa fee and visa related costs will be covered by the project.
PARTICIPATION FEE:
- 20 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
