“Youth Initiative Centre” NGO will provide support to adolescents and youth forcibly displaced from Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) in different regions of Armenia.

Taking into account the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh and the severe situation created since September 19, we are informing that the services and resources of the “Youth House” open youth centres operating in Gyumri, Spitak, Ejmiatsin, Armavir and Gavar will be available to the displaced adolescent youth of ages 13-18 in the above mentioned communities and their surroundings.

Youth workers at the youth centres will carry out individual and group youth work by counseling and referral to relevant specialists and specialized institutions based on the needs of these young people, contributing to their rehabilitation and inclusion to the new environment.

With skilled youth workers, our centres will provide need-based services to the youth including but not limited to non-formal education, training, occupation, professional orientation, development, communication with peers, self-expression, entertainment activities and a safe space equipped with youth library, computers with internet connection, educational and entertainment games, a hall for meetings and youth gatherings, a kitchen and an outdoor area.
