ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME ON GLOBAL ISSUES AND YOUTH WORK

PROJECT AIMS to enhance the competencies of youth workers to effectively address socio-political and other global issues such as inequality, climate change, migration and contemporary conflicts through inclusive, conscious and quality youth work.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Increase the competencies of youth workers to incorporate global issues into their work with young people through activities that foster critical thinking and the exchange of ideas and opinions;
- Strengthen the ability of youth workers to create safe and supportive spaces that enable them to address emotionally challenging topics such as wars, crises, and conflicts;
- Support participating organisations in creating activity plans that address global issues;
- Increase the interest of youth workers from the local communities of participating organisations in addressing local topics through dissemination activities and interactive workshops engaging at least 15 youth workers per community.
PARTICIPANT COUNTRIES: Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, North Macedonia, Poland, Latvia and Czech Republic.
PARTICIPANTS:
- The Armenian team will consist of 2 participants per activity who are at least 20 years old and are active youth workers, youth leaders, educators, project coordinators and managers in youth organisations interested in the topic of the project.
- Participants will be required to do preparation and follow-up activities in their local communities before and after Activity 1 and Activity 2.
- The participants of Activity 1 are encouraged to participate in Activity 2 as well, however it is not a mandatory requirement. At the same time, YIC NGO takes the right to change the participants for Activity 2 if they do not comply with the project requirements.
- Members of YIC NGO will have a priority in the selection process.
LANGUAGE: participants should have above intermediate level of English to be able to communicate during the activities.
FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:
- Food and lodging are fully covered by the project.
- The travel limit for Activity 1 in Czech Republic is 395 Euros (per person) which will be reimbursed via bank transfer after the end of the project upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers.
- The travel limit for Activity 2 in Georgia is 210 Euros (per person) which will be reimbursed via bank transfer after the end of the project upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers.
- Visa fee and visa related costs for Schengen visa will be covered up to 35 EUR by the project and reimbursed with travel costs.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 20 EUR (per Activity)․
There is no participation fee for YIC members.
