A CONSULTANT/CONTENT WRITER IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH 

TERMS OF REFERENCE 

 

Subject of Contest: Consultant/Content Writer in the Field of Youth

Number of Working Days: 80 hours (10 working days)

 

“Youth Initiative Centre” (YIC) NGO within the framework of the “Youth in Action: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia” project is launching a competition for a consultant/content writer in the field of youth in order to involve in the activity:

 

Idea Labs 

Idea Labs aims to promote youth creativity, leadership, and increase youth’s role in society. It will involve 45 young change-makers, and at least 150 young people will indirectly benefit from the initiative. The selected candidates from the Idea Lab will receive seed funding to test their innovative ideas at the local level.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop training modules for the Inception meeting, idea generation, and idea implementation phases.
  • Assign roles for conducting the educational program.
  • Advise the project team to ensure thematic and methodological consistency and high quality across project training.
  • Ensure that educational proposals, module development, and implementation by instructors align with informal learning methodologies and are tailored to the purpose and target group of each program component.

 

Skills:

  • Familiarity with youth work formats, clusters, and age characteristics of the target audience.
  • Consulting and supervision experience in the youth or CSO field.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational modules, as well as local and international programs.
  • Mastery of non-formal learning methodology and tools.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Word Excel, PowerPoint, web applications).
  • Ability to quickly navigate different situations.

 

Payment:

Payment for the service will be in AMD based on the timesheet submitted by the performer, and in the case of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, based on the invoice submitted in addition to the mentioned document. The current price is set at 200 EUR (the cost of the one-day service) which will be accommodated in EUR equivalent to the fluctuated rate exchange and will be reimbursed adequately. This includes taxes and fees defined by RA legislation.

The Euro – AMD exchange rate will be calculated in accordance with the current exchange rate at the customer’s bank at the time of signing the service contract.

The motivation letter should provide detailed information regarding the candidate’s qualifications for the call, along with online references. 

The application submission deadline is December 6, 2024, at 18:00. 

 

Application Evaluation:

The assessment of applications will be conducted until December 11, 2024. Only applicants that meet the requirements will be taken into consideration. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview via video call.
