INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2020

Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” (YIC) NGO already the 6th year continues celebrating the International Youth Day in Gyumri. This year as well, on the 12th of August, Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO in cooperation with UNFPA Armenia initiates the implementation of various events dedicated to the International Youth Day but this time in a different format because of the existing situation in the world.

🔸 BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN – From August 1, launch of a Billboard Campaign in the central parts of Gyumri to increase the role and significance of the youth in the society, with the following slogans:
“Healthy and well-off young person” – Simonyan’s family
“Active and initiative-taking young person” – Zhora Abgaryan
“Skillful and competitive young person” – Sofya Harutyunyan
“Informed and aware young person” – Hrachya Kyureghyan
“Creative and innovative young person” – Hayarpi Poghosyan
🔸 PAID INTERNSHIP – On the 12th of August there will be launch of announcement of paid internships on the occasion of the International Youth Day.
The project is implemented by UNFPA Armenia and Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO. It provides an opportunity to the young people to do internship in leading companies in the Shirak region.
🔸 “MY UNIQUE MESSAGE TO YOUNG PEOPLE” ONLINE VIDEO COMPETITION –
Announcement of an online video competition entitled “My unique message to young people” on the occasion of the International Youth Day.
The competition is open to young people aged 15-35, who will send their message to young people through short videos. The author of the winning video will be awarded with a unique prize – paragliding.

🔸 PREMIERE OF DANCE VIDEO – Publication of a congratulatory dance video dedicated to the International Youth Day on August 12 with the participation of the event volunteers.
