On December 5, Gyumri “Youth Initative Centre” NGO celebrated the International Volunteer Day with the participation of local and international volunteers.

At the beginning of the event on the Occasion of the international volunteer Day, the president of YIC NGO Artur Najaryan, Deputy Mayor Ruben Sanoyan and the assistant to the head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Avagyan delivered congratulatory speeches

Afterwards YIC annual volunteer awards ceremony was held, during which YIC NGO president Artur Najaryan gave certificates and certificates of gratitude to the volunteers for active involvement in the activities of the organization and the implementation of volunteer work.

The titles were awarded in the following categories

”Volunteer of the Year”- Artyom Mkrtchyan

”Mentor of the Year”-Marieta Gevorgyan

”EVS Volunteer of the Year”-Martina Hornickova The Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia also gave certificates of gratitude to the volunteers who carried out voluntary work during the events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

We would like to remind that the work with the volunteers of the 28th Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia was coordinated by Gyumri ”Youth initiatives center” NGO. the award ceremony was followed by a pleasant party organised for the local and international volunteers.
