Aim: To encourage the active participation of youth in the development of state youth policy and in decision-making process.

Description: “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO with the support of RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs carried out the project “Informed and supportive youth” in Gyumri.

In the frames of “Informed and supportive youth” project a three-day training was held during which the participants got to know the general terms of youth policy,  the mechanisms of participation in the local youth policy development processes, the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in the process of youth policy development and the promotion of youth participation in it. The participants were provided with relevant materials as well as printed materials on Armenian state youth policy and strategy.

The training hosted 20 participants aged 16-30, living in Shirak region.
