GLOW “Girls Leading Our World” 7-DAY CAMP ANNOUNCEMENT

“Youth Initiative Centre” NGO invites adolescent girls aged 13 to 15 from all regions of Armenia and displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh to participate in the ‘Girls Leading Our World’ (GLOW) 7-day camp, which will take place from June 19 to 25 of this year

The GLOW camp aims to develop leadership skills and highlight the role of women in leadership.

During the camp, there will be workshops on leadership, active citizenship, digital literacy, human rights, volunteerism, healthy lifestyle, mental health, environmental protection, and humanitarian values. Participants will also have meetings with influential women and professionals from these fields. Additionally, campers will gain knowledge and skills in designing and managing programs. 

 

 DETAILS AND CONDITIONS

  • Participants: 40,
  • Participant age: 13–15 years old,
  • Duration: 7 days, 
  • Participation is free of charge,
  • Accommodation, meals, and transportation for participants will be provided by the organizers,
  • Former GLOW participants are not eligible to attend the camp a second time,
  • Selected participants are required to engage fully in the entire duration of the camp, from start to finish.
