“Generation- Exchange- Learning 2”

Aim: To promote young and elder generation representatives from EU and EECA countries involvement in youth and volunteer work through experience exchange and forming cooperation.
Description: Youth Initiative Centre NGO in cooperation with Dynamiques Plurielles NGO hosted an international study visit in Gyumri in the framework of Erasmus + programme. During the study tour visits to state and non-governmental organizations were held in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Yerevan. Participants of the study visit also met with representatives of various departments of ministry Sport and Youth Affairs of RA, with Culture and Youth Affairs department of municipality of Gyumri where the main topic of discussion was how to increase the involvement of elder generation in the works of youth and volunteering. As a result of the study visit a new guideline was designed to help increase youth and volunteer work of elder and younger generations.
During the exchange the participants had the opportunity to get to know Armenian culture and visit various Armenian picturesque and historical sites. Thanks to cultural events and non-formal meetings organized by the participants other countries’ cultures were presented as well.
The study visit brought together 30 participants from Armenia, Georgia, France, Italy, Germany and Malta.
“Generation- Exchange- Learning 2” study visit was the 2nd round of “Generation- Exchange- Learning” project: the first phase was organized in France in November.
