On June 28 a forum entitled “Perspectives for the Development of Open Youth Work in Armenia” took palce in Yerevan.
The forum was aimed at presenting the results of the project “Recognition of Open Youth Work in Armenia” and discussing the issues of youth work in Armenia, the challenges and opportunities, the experience and future actions of the key stakeholders.

In the course of the event YIC signed Memorandum of understandings with the Gyumri and Spitak Municipalities about NGO – Community collaboration on providing educational and youth services to young people aged 12-18 in Gyumri and Spitak communities.

The forum was summarized by thematic discussions on the topics “Localization of Open Youth Work in Armenian Communities” and “Further Steps to the Formation of Youth Workers Network in Armenia”.
