THE PROJECT AIMS to introduce participants with the fundamentals of youth policy in different countries and to promote young people’s initiative by implementing positive change in their environment through learned skills. 

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

• Develop young people’s negotiation and advocacy skills,
• Provide knowledge and tools to develop and implement community initiatives,
• Promote political participation of young people, understand their importance and representation

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: The Armenian team will consist of 4 young participants and 1 team leader.

• Young participants should be 18-25 years old active youth leaders, young people, students and volunteers who are interested in learning about political participation in different youth policy environments. Link to the young participant’s Application Form.

• The team leader should be at least 21 years old experienced youth leader or youth worker, who has previous experience participating in YIC international projects. The Team Leader will also participate in a 2-day Advance Planning Visit (APV) at the same venue two weeks before the Youth Exchange. Dates of the APV are to be confirmed. Interested candidates should fill in the Team Leader’s Application Form.

LANGUAGE: The working language of the project is English. Young participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English. The team leader is required to have an advanced level of English.  

FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:

• Food and lodging are fully covered by the project. 
• The travel limit for Armenian participants is 360 Euros which will be reimbursed via bank transfer upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers. 
• Visa fee and visa related costs will be covered by the project together with travel costs. 
• Due to Covid-19 situation, participants with full vaccination will be given a priority. 

PARTICIPATION FEE: 35 EUR 

There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
