ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHANGE PROJECT ON MUSIC
TITLE: MUSIC UPROOTS STEREOTYPES AND EXCLUSION 2․0 – M.U.S.E 2․0
PLACE: Stratoni, Chalkidiki, Greece
DATES: 2-17 August 2024
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Introduce people to the world of music through their own experiences, capabilities and ways along with social structures,
- Create intercultural awareness, create social inclusion and solidarity for all,
- Improve the existing music and artistic skills of the participants, and bring new knowledge and skills through art workshops.
PARTICIPANTS: The Armenian team will consist of 4 young participants and 1 team leader.
- Young participants should be 18-25 years old active young people, volunteers, students who play any musical instrument, or write lyrics, dance and have talent on performing. Proficient level is not mandatory. Members of YIC NGO will have a priority in the selection process. Young participant’s application form.
- Team Leader should be at least 21 years old youth leader or youth worker, who has strong organizational skills. Previous experience of participating in YIC international projects is required. Members of YIC NGO will have a priority in the selection process. Team Leader’s application form.
LANGUAGE: Participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English. The team leader is required to have an advanced level of English.
FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:
- Food and lodging are fully covered by the project.
- The travel limit for Armenian participants is 275 Euros (per person) which will be reimbursed via bank transfer after the end of the project upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers.
- Visa fee and visa related costs will be covered by the project together with travel costs.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 35 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
