ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHANGE PROJECT ON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
TITLE: ECODING: New Technologies for environment, employability and civil activism
PLACE: Rustavi, Georgia
DATES: 3-10 July, 2022
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Learn about the basics of programming and working with robotics,
- Create own little website or app project as a group,
- Connect the hard skills (coding, robotics, etc.) with civil activism regarding climate change and environment,
- Get in contact with professional developers and IT experts and learn about this career path.
INVOLVED COUNTRIES: Armenia, Georgia, Germany and Sweden.
PARTICIPANTS: The Armenian team will consist of 5 young participants and 1 team leader.
- Young participants should be 18-26 years old active young people, volunteers and students who are interested to learn more about coding and the basics of programming, creating their own website or app project. Link to the young participant’s application form․
- The team leader should be at least 21 years old youth leader or youth worker, who has previous experience participating in YIC international projects. Link to the team leader’s application form․
LANGUAGE: Participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English. The team leader is required to have an advanced level of English.
FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:
- Food and lodging are fully covered by the project.
- The travel limit for Armenian participants is 180 Euros per person which will be reimbursed after the project upon submitting all invoices and tickets to the organizers.
- Due to Covid-19 situation, participants with full vaccination will be given a priority. Any vaccination is acceptable to enter Georgia. Participants without valid Covid-19 vaccination have to get tested before entering Georgia.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 20 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
