THE PROJECT AIMS at developing young people’s skills and shaping their attitude on active citizenship, social sensibility and communication. 

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

• To understand the meaning of decision-making process and active citizenship,
• To understand the importance of human and fundamental rights and diversity in our societies,
• To understand young people’s personal role in the creation of democratic world by respecting values as tolerance, equity, freedom, and diversity.

INVOLVED COUNTRIES: Armenia, Hungary, Spain, Turkey, Morocco and Lebanon.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Armenian team will consist of 4 young participants and 1 team leader.

• Young participants should be 18-24 years old active young leaders, volunteers and students who are interested in the topic of the project and are committed to implementing follow-up projects after the project. Link to the young participant’s Application Form. 
• The Team Leader should be at least 21 years old experienced youth leader or youth worker, who has previous experience participating in YIC international projects. The Team Leader will also participate in an Advance Planning Visit (APV) at the same venue on November 10-13. Interested candidates should fill in the Team Leader’s Application Form.

LANGUAGE: The working language of the project is English. Young participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English. The Team Leader is required to have an advanced level of English.  

FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:

• Food and lodging are fully covered by the project. 
• The travel limit for Armenian participants is 360 Euros which will be reimbursed via bank transfer upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers. 
• Visa fee and visa related costs will be covered by the project together with travel costs. 
• Obtaining travel insurance during the project duration is the participant’s responsibility (most insurance companies in Armenia provide).
• Due to Covid-19 situation, participants with full vaccination will be given a priority. 

PARTICIPATION FEE: 35 EUR 

There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
