ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON VIDEO-MAKING IN YOUTH WORK

TITLE: Inclusive Cities Lens: Introducing Video into Youth Work
PLACE: Rustavi, Georgia
DATES: 5-10 October 2026

 

AIM: To strengthen the capacity of youth workers to use video-making as a non-formal education tool for promoting inclusion, sustainability and active participation among young people.

OBJECTIVES
• To develop participants’ practical skills in video production and editing for use in youth work;
• To increase participants’ understanding of urban sustainability, social inclusion and discrimination in public spaces;
• To explore how video-making can be used as a tool for storytelling, awareness-raising and social change;
• To exchange experiences and good practices with youth workers, artists and filmmakers from different countries;
• To encourage participants to apply the acquired knowledge and methods in their daily youth work and organise follow-up activities in their local communities.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
The Armenian team will consist of 5 participants.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Participants should be 18 years old or above youth workers, youth leaders, educators, artists, filmmakers or other professionals working with young people who are interested in the project topic and committed to implementing follow-up activities after the training. Priority will be given to YIC members.

LANGUAGE
Participants are required to have at least an intermediate level of English, as all activities during the training will be conducted in English.

FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS
• Food and accommodation will be fully covered by the project.
• The travel limit for Armenian participants is 100 EUR, which will be reimbursed after the project via bank transfer upon submission of all required travel documents.
• Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their travel insurance.

PARTICIPATION FEE
15 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members.
