ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON MEDIA LITERACY AND DIGITAL YOUTH WORK
TITLE: Privacy4youth
PLACE: Bakuriani, Georgia
DATES: November 28 – December 5, 2021
Project objectives:
- Raising awareness about own online behavior; online threats for youngsters; digital and data security and privacy rights.
- Increasing the level of Media Literacy of the participants and their target group.
- Sharing methods for digital youth work and providing a toolbox for youth workers and trainers – Developing new methods for digital youth work.
- Empowering youngsters to use digital tools for their personal and professional development -Setting up an Action Plan on how to implement the methods in the home communities – Networking between youth workers and trainers from different European organizations – promoting Erasmus+, Media Literacy, and healthy online lifestyle.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Participants should be at least 18 years old active young people, volunteers, social workers, youth workers and youth leaders who are interested in the topic of the training course and will be able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in their daily work with youngsters and youth groups.
Working language is ENGLISH.
The Armenian team will consist of 4 participants.
Food and lodging is fully covered.
The travel limit for Armenian participants to Georgia is 180 EUR. The reimbursement of the travel costs might take place via bank transfer.
*In the light of Covid-19 pandemic, you are required to have a full Vaccination. In case of non-vaccinated participants, the costs of the PCR tests (on the third day in Georgia and on return to Armenia) will be on the expense of the participant.
PARTICIPATION FEE:
- 20 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
