ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON GENDER EQUALITY
TITLE: Outdoor education for gender equality
PLACE: Bakuriani, Georgia
DATES: 6-13 March 2024
THE PROJECT AIMS to address gender-based inequalities and discriminations in and through outdoor activities and non-formal education.
THE PROJECT OBJECTIVES ARE:
- Raising awareness about discriminations and their intersectionality,
- Providing participants with tools to tackle gender-based discriminations and inequalities,
- Training participants in order for them to create inclusive indoor or outdoor youth activities,
- Raising confidence among participants to experiment new sports and activities.
LANGUAGE: Participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English.
FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:
- Food and lodging are fully covered by the project.
- The travel limit for Armenian participants is 180 Euros which will be reimbursed upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organisers.
- Participants are responsible for obtaining travel insurance for the dates of the training course.
- As outdoor activities are expected, participants should bring winter boots, hiking shoes, snow-proof jacket and pants, etc.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 20 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
PARTICIPANTS: The Armenian team will consist of 3 participants who are over 18 year old youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers and generally active youth interested in the topic of this project.
