ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON NON-VIOLENT ACTIVISM, DEMOCRATIC ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
TITLE: Youth in Charge
PLACE: Kobuleti, Georgia
DATES: 12-18 October 2025
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- To equip youth workers with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to promote non-violent activism, democratic values, and youth engagement,
- Provide participants with tools to analyze political contexts and develop strategic thinking skills to better navigate and respond to social and democratic challenges,
- Creation of a transnational solidarity network and support for participants to become multipliers through workshops, community initiatives, and follow-up actions.
INVOLVED COUNTRIES: Armenia, Georgia, Italy, the Netherlands, Serbia, Turkey, Poland, Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Armenian team will consist of 3 participants․
Participants should be at least 20 years old active young leaders, youth workers, volunteers, educators and trainers who are interested in the topic of the project and are committed to carry out activities multiplying the results of the project in their communities after the end of the project. Priority in the selection process will be given to members of YIC NGO.

LANGUAGE: The working language of the project is English. Participants are required to have at least intermediate level of English.
FINANCIAL AND OTHER CONDITIONS:
- Food and lodging are fully covered by the project,
- The travel limit for Armenian participants is up to 285 Euros which will be reimbursed via bank transfer upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organisers. Participants from Armenia are expected to travel by land.
PARTICIPATION FEE: 20 EUR
There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
