Presentation of the “EcoVille” educational game
We would like to inform you that on November 21 the face-to-face training entitled “EcoVille Educational Game and Identifying Community Needs” was conducted by Andranik Papoyan (“Pando” NGO), a participant in the study visit to Romania.
The training is conducted within the framework of the “EmpowerYouth: Enabling Youth Organizations to Shape Decision-Making on Issues that Matter Most to Young People” project, implemented by the Romanian Center for European Policies (CRPE/Romania) in cooperation with “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO (YIC/Armenia), the Center for Research and Advocacy in EU Policies (CAREP/Moldova), and Association Atinati (ATINATI/Georgia), with the co-funding of the European Union.
During the workshop, participants took on the roles of council members of the city of “EcoVille”, made complex decisions, discussed the distribution of resources, and explored the logic of democratic processes in a game format.
During the meeting, community problems were identified and presented, according to the communities, as well as their possible solutions were discussed.
All partner organisations attending the training were provided with the “EcoVille” educational game, which will enable them to use it to promote participatory processes in communities and implement educational events.
Co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are, however, those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or EACEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
