Within the framework of the “Youth in Action” project, the Youth Initiatives Centre invites young people aged 16 to 30, from various regions of Armenia and displaced from Artsakh, who are active members of political party youth wings, youth councils, or initiatives, to participate in the “Leadership Lab” camp-training.
The “Leadership Lab” will take place from July 3 to 8 in Gyumri.

What the “Leadership Lab” is 

It is an intensive camp-training designed for young leaders, which this year will focus on political participation, civic engagement, and the development of a healthy political discourse.
The goal of the camp is to support the capacity building of youth interested in political activity, promote cooperation among youth with diverse political views, and empower young people to make positive changes in their communities.

The camp model includes:

• Trainings on topics such as political participation, electoral processes, the role of media in politics, the law on youth policy, and communication;
  
• Practical work, debates, and simulation games;
  
• Meetings with experienced politicians and professionals (motivational talks);
  
• Use of innovative tools for project design and implementation.

During the camp, participants will work in collaborative teams to develop community initiative projects with a zero budget, which they will implement within three months after the camp.

• Number of participants: 30
  
• Age: 16-30 years old
  
• Duration: 6 days (July 3–8)
  
• Participation is free of charge.

The organizers will cover accommodation, meals, and travel expenses.
Selected participants are expected to attend all phases of the program, from the camp to the implementation of their initiatives.
Participants who successfully implement their community initiatives will receive a camp certificate and become members of the alumni network.
