On May 14, within the framework of the “UPSHIFT Syunik” cultivating adolescents’ growth and engagement in community development project “Presentation of community youth initiatives” meeting was held at “Impact Hub Syunik”.

In the beginning of the meeting, the teams briefly presented the current works and decided their teams’ mottos.

Therefore, the adolescents worked and prepared their projects presentations on innovative approaches to solving community problems.

Arus Hayrapetyan, head of youth affairs department of the Goris municipality, Hasmik Aleksanyan, adolescent development officer of the UNICEF Armenia, and Artur Najaryan, chairman of the board of the “Youth Initiative Center” NGO and specialist for project monitoring and supervising, encouraged the young people with their welcoming words.

After the presentations, the 3 teams received 100,000 AMD funding within the framework of the project in order to make their initiatives a reality.

 ՛՛KIPKAS՛՛

During the meeting, public relations and finance managers of the “Youth Initiative Center” NGO presented to the youngsters the basic principles of competent coverage of the work done within the project as well as the conditions of procurement planning and reporting.

The start of the project implementation phase is given. Let’s rock it.
