THE PROJECT IS AIMED at youth workers who are supporting young people in transition between childhood and adulthood.

THE PROJECT OBJECTIVES ARE:

• Create a common understanding about what is transition between childhood and adulthood;
• Bring attention to emerging issues that youth workers may face when working with young people in transition (like ambiguity, youth workers as role models, identity…);
• Reflect about the way youth workers deal with the 4 dimensions (bio – psycho – social – spiritual) of personal development in their work;
• Offer a place to discover and share tools, ways, activities, methods to support young people in their transitions;
• Create space for the participants to analyze what changes they want to make in their practice as youth workers concerning the support of young people in transition;
• Provide own personal experience for youth workers with some methods and tools, create space for self-reflection of own transition journey and how to use its potential in youth work.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Participants should be at least 20 years old youth workers, youth leaders, mentors and coaches who work directly with youth and are willing to enhance their competences in accompanying and supporting youngsters they are working with in transition.  

Participants are required to have a good conduct of English.    

During the training course participants will be asked to bring their sleeping bags and mats. 

Food and lodging is fully covered by the project. The travel limit for Armenian participants is 820 Euros which will be reimbursed via bank transfer upon submitting the ticket receipts to the organizers. Visa fee and visa related costs will be covered by the project. 

Due to Covid-19 situation, participants should be fully vaccinated not older than 270 days ago with one of the following vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Sinovac – CoronaVac. 

The Armenian team will consist of 2 participants.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

• 50 EUR 

There is no participation fee for YIC members and for participants nominated from institutions with agreement to YIC.
