Description. The project was implemented by a YIC member Valya Martirosyan with the support of “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO, IREX Armenia and Armenian Caritas for the disabled children of the “Aregak” day care center. The main objective of doing this project was to create a more natural environment, which would assist in the children’s development, since their main source of learning is senses. The project was also to gather together the children, their parents and the staff of this center, and local and international volunteers. By working together in the yard to seed some lawn and painting on the walls of the yard made the integration of these children to the usual community possible.
