“Youth Initiative Centre” (YIC) NGO invites adolescent girls aged 13-15 from all regions of Armenia to the GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) girls’ leadership and empowerment camp, which is implemented within the framework of the long-term program of “Youth in Action: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia”.


GLOW camps aim to develop leadership skills as well as highlight the role of girls in leadership.


There will be workshops on leadership, civic education, media literacy, human rights, volunteering, healthy lifestyle, environmental protection, philanthropy and meetings with experienced speakers. Participants will also gain program development and management skills that will help them implement projects in their communities after the camp.

Girls aged 13-15 from all regions of Armenia can apply for the camp.



  • Number of the participants: 40,
  • Duration of the camp: 7 days, from October 23rd to 29th, 2023
  • No participation fee
  • The organization covers the transportation, accommodation and food expenses 
  • Selected participants are expected to be involved in all phases of the project, from start to finish.

Considering the current situation, adolescent girls who moved from Artsakh to Armenia can also apply.

The camp is carried out by the “Youth Initiative Centre” (YIC) NGO in partnership with the Armenian branch of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), World Vision Armenia (WVA) and Media Initiatives Center (MIC) within the framework of “Youth in Action: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia” project, co-funded by the European Union.
