On December 28, Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO celebrated the New Year and the 9th anniversary of the organisation. Not only friends, members and beneficiaries were present on the last event of the year, but also representatives of partner organisations, who had worked and cooperated with YIC throughout the year. On December 5th Gyumri “Youth Initiative Centre” NGO celebrated International Volunteer Day with local and international volunteers this year too. The event was launched with the annual ceremony of awarding the titles "Volunteer of the Year", "EVS Armenian volunteer of the Year", "International EVS volunteer of the Year", “Mentor of the Year” and “Club leader of the Year” to those local and international volunteers who have been actively volunteering during the whole year. On December 5, Gyumri YIC NGO celebrated the ''International Volunteer Day''. The start was given at Hayordats Tun in Gyumri, where a photo exhibition was held titled "Volunteer work in the photos." It reflected the volunteer work done in different parts of the world. Then YIC volunteers talked about volunteerism and shared their experience of voluntary work with students of N 42 school and Academic college. The day ended in a warm environment where participants not only had the opportunity to spend a good time together, but also were awarded with certificates. Biannual report 2014-2015
On November 4, 2016 the presentations of both Biannual report 2014-2015 as well as new website took place in Gyumri YIC NGO. In the first part YIC president Artur Najaryan presented the organization's activities and conducted projects during those two years and Finance Manager Liana Hakobyan presented the financial report. Then the presentation of a new website took place and the Public Relations manager Lilit Sargsyan presented the new structure and the opportunities of the website. On August 27, 2016 a non-formal meeting took place at Gyumri's central park with volunteers involved in the organizing activities of the International Youth Day events . Volunteers shared their impressions and made new proposals.
