YIC NGO in the framework of ”Youth In Action” and ”Erasmus +” implements the ”European Voluntary Service” program. EVS gives European youth a chance to volunteer in Armenia.
EVS aims to instill in young people humanism, tolerence and to encourage active citizenship for community development.

On September 10, 2017 the farewell event for Elina Benz (Germany) took place, who used to do volunteering in Gyumri within the framework of European Voluntary Service (EVS) programme. Elina has been volunteering for a year at Gyumri ''Youth Initiative Centre'' NGO by organizing different projects like the “Friday Café”, German and  Handicraft clubs, also German teaching at Gyumri No. 25 School after E.
